2010 Annual Assembly
January 30, 2010

The RBCC Annual Assembly is a great opportunity to bring the community of faith together. This year’s theme is “Called to Serve” and, as last year, we are expanding. Our workshop offerings have gone from 3 to 8, all with a theme of serving. The response from exhibitors in the Ministry Corridor has caused us to expand that as well and we will be moving it to a portion of the ballroom. With all that activity and opportunity to learn and connect, we’ve also changed the day and time. For 2010, we will have Annual Assembly on Saturday, Jan. 30 beginning at 1:00pm. We anticipate a large crowd throughout the day due to the expansion of the workshops offered and a larger Ministry Corridor.

Some things are great just as they are, so we will continue with an opening worship time, followed by a great evening of food, fellowship, awards and a powerful speaker; Army Chaplain Schaun Myers, who can certainly speak to us about being called to serve.

We invite and encourage you to attend this amazing event! Below you will find downloadable forms for registration, a flyer describing the workshop offerings, an application to be part of the ministry corridor, and a flyer describing sponsorship opportunities.

If you have any questions regarding Annual Assembly, please contact our office at 610-375-6108 or

Ministry Corridor:
Over the past few years, RBCC has begun to offer a Ministry Corridor as part of Annual Assembly. In this area, ministries from around the county are encouraged to exhibit their particular outreach, what they are doing in the name of Christ, and how others might get involved. If you are affiliated with a specific ministry in Berks County, please download and read the letter of invitation below. If you are interested in being an exhibitor in the Ministry Corridor, please download and use the registration form. We look forward to helping you connect with the Body of Christ.

Sponsorship involvement is critical in helping make this gathering of the church community successful. We invite you to participate as a sponsor. Opportunities are outlined on the download below.  Please pray about your support and call the RBCC office with any questions. We look forward to your response no later than Jan 8, 2010.

Awards:
Each year at Annual Assembly, we honor deserving people with awards. RBCC depends on people of faith throughout the county to make nominations for these awards. Although the deadline for 2010 has passed, we encourage you to read the description of these awards, and throughout the year, send your nominations in!
