SHARE (Survival Help / Assistance & Referral in Emergency) was formed by the Conference of Churches. It is located at the Salvation Army, S 5th Street, Reading.
- Those with emergency needs may go there for help, or call 610-373-5208 or the SHARE 24-Hour hotline: 610-777-6555.
- Area pastors may also make referrrals to SHARE. Over 14,000 people receive emergency help each year. SHARE is dependent on support from churches and individuals for its day-to-day programs.
- The SHARE sponsored Furniture Bank offers good used furniture to those in need for a minimal cost.
