Pulled Pork Crock Pot

1 pork shoulder roast (about 2 1/2 – 4 lbs)
1 c. ginger ale
BBQ Sauce : ( 1 c. ketchup, 1 Tbs. lemon juice, 1 Tbs. onion lakes or 1 medium onion, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. water, 4 Tbs Brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce – Mix all ingredients and simmer for 10-15 minutes)
Place roast in crock pot, (no need to trim fat or brown because liquid will be discarded later) Add ginger ale. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. Remove roast from crock pot. Shred using 2 forks to pull apart. Discard liquid from pot. Return meat to crock pot, and add BBQ sauce. Cook on low for 1 – 1/2 hours to allow sauce to permeate meat. Enjoy!
