2011 Update: Unfortunately, we had another rainy day so the Hymn Sing was moved in doors. Our thanks to Pastor Dave Reinwald and the congregation at Kissinger's Lutheran for hosting our rain location. Approximately 120 people attended the indoor version of the Hymn Sing. Sounds of brass, guitars, and beautiful voices combined for a great evening of praising God! Thanks to everyone who came out!
RBCC sponsors an Annual Hymn Sing at Grings Mill Park, Tulpehocken Rd, Wyomissing. For 2011, the date is August 14, from 6-8pm.
Rock Solid, from Calvary United Methodist Church, Mohnton and Brass in Praise are back again this year! Traditional sounds of brass and energetic worship music combine to make this an amazing
evening. Expect music both contemporary and traditional, some familiar and some brand new! All of it, designed to help the gathered Body of Christ give praise to our Creator!
Plan to bring a large group from your congregation. Don’t forget your lawn chairs or blankets. There is nothing like singing praises to our God in the great outdoors!
Handicap Parking, Snack Bar & Picnic Area also available.
In case of rain, the Hymn Sing will be held at Kissinger Lutheran Church, 715 Berkshire Blvd, Wyomissing.
The Hymn Sing is presented by RBCC in cooperation with the Berks County Parks & Recreation Department.
