The State was Texas, the year was 2008, hurricane Ike blasted through and this one lone house stood still.  Astonishing isn’t it?  How did this happen?  It was built to hurricane code.

Definition of being built to code: A house is built to code when it meets the requirements set forth in local building code. … It covers the whole building – from structural components such as floors, walls and roofs to mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. (Google)

All specifications were put into place.

Did you know that we were built to code?  Each and every one of us.

Genesis 1:26-27 (NKJV)

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

We were built by God…..He said, “Let US make man in OUR image.”  We were made according to all specifications laid down by God Himself.

We are meant to sustain all winds, rains, tornadoes, hurricanes, adversities, troubles, afflictions, and distress.

We have been built GOD tough.  We have been given the precious Holy Spirit to deliver unto us all that is needed in our time of troubles and joys.  You already have the code written inside of you.  Do we believe it?  Do we live it?  I would venture a guess and say no not always.  Why?  We have been told that we already have it.  Our DNA reads HIS CODE.

Father God has willed it, Jesus has accomplished all that the Father willed and His Precious Holy Spirit applies all that the Son has accomplished according to Father’s will.  Now that is powerful!  Have I mentioned this before?

What a powerful helper we have!  Our family line is like no other ever created!

Winds of adversity, He calmed them, waves of destruction, He commanded them to stop.   You have been built tough……GOD tough!  You have been built to code to endure all things, trust in all things and exceed in all things according to His most Holy Presence.

In order to stand tough, we must know our maker, we must know that He wrote our code and that He designed us to stand in Him, with Him and for Him.  JustAsk.

I remain in His peace to love and serve,
