I love to dance. I can “feel” the music. My body detects the beat
and moves accordingly. I love to feel the rhythm in my being.

As a child I would watch my mom and dad dance. They would
glide across the dance floor with such grace and posture. What a
good time they had and I had a good time watching them.

In my dreams I could picture dancing like my parents did. I had
the opportunity to dance a few times with my dad but not nearly
enough. He would move me across the floor to the tempo of the
music. I learned to listen and move according to the sound.

Several years ago, my husband George and I took dance lessons,
oh what fun we had. I remember while dancing the Quickstep we
would utter quick quick slow. It was the tempo, we timed out the

Well our Good and Great and Glorious Father has a tempo. A
tempo in His breath, a tempo in His voice, and a tempo in His
silence. Do you hear it? It is rhythmic.

I picture myself standing on His feet and allowing Him to guide
me through the tempo of the moment. He holds me tightly as He
glances down at me and encourages me on. It is all timed out
and He is teaching me how to dance to His tempo.

His breath creates the music, His voice creates the music and His
silence creates the music. Oh dearly beloved….hear His tempo in
this hour. Hear His tempo over you. What and whose tempo are
you dancing too?

Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV)
17  The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He
will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His
love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Goggle’s definition of tempo: the speed at which a passage of
music is or should be played.

Well I say Father God’s tempo is the speed at which His breath,
His voice and His silence is played.

There is a song that has been created for you which God Himself
sings over you daily. Do you know what it is? Have you heard it?
JustAsk….. It is time for you to dance on the feet of our Jesus.

I remain in His peace to love and serve,
