Yes, I did grow up in a church.  I had a good start.  My family saw to it that we went to church every Sunday.  My parents gave to us what they had. They were supplying our spiritual food…..however there was so much more that I required.  There was so much more that I thirsted for.  I kept wondering…what do those red letters mean???

Matthew 6:33 (ESV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

You see I went to a church but not to HIS Church.  I went to a church which spoke of man’s doctrine, rules and regulations, barely giving any meat to His word.

I was left dry and sensing that there was so much more for me.  I was unfulfilled, seeking in all the wrong places.  I know you see it, you might have even experienced it.

I was seeking after Jesus – He was always there beckoning me to come up higher.  To JustAsk (Matthew 7:7) after Him.  We have spoken before about His FIERCE LOVE…this is what I am talking about.

This is where He leaves the 99 to go after that 1.  I am amazed at what I have experienced in Him.  I am amazed that He came after me wanting to show me things that I know not of.

Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV)

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

As a child the seed was planted.  I had to seek out the true watering of the Word.  I had to know what those red letters meant.  I had a desire, a thirst, a hunger, a quest to know who He was…..who He is…..and how I can get to know Him better.

It takes an unquenchable passion to seek after the GLORY OF OUR GOD!  It takes a seeking out of the Kingdom of God to put you at peace.

I am finding out more and more that many people started out like I did.  Some of us have old baggage to unload before we can move forward…but God! He is beckoning us forward by the Blood of His Son Jesus.  He is beckoning us through the empowerment of His Precious Holy Spirit.  The Kingdom of God is beckoning us to come up higher.   JustAsk

I remain in His peace to love and serve,
