Job Summary: The Bridge Fellowship Church seeks a part-time Student Pastor to minister to our young people. The Bridge is seeking a man with a calling and passion to step in and connect with our youth and volunteers, leading them in biblical, practical teaching while providing leadership and direction to the overall ministry.
The candidate(s) will be expected to passionately fulfill at least the following responsibilities: – Work with (inspire, train, and schedule) new and existing volunteers for Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening youth discipleship groups; -Execute in the student ministry, the five purposes of the church: worship, fellowship, ministry, evangelism, and discipleship.
-Work closely with the staff team and with other volunteer members to plan and execute a calendar and schedule of events.
The most qualified candidate(s) will:
– Have excellent writing, verbal and communicating skills
– Have the ability to be a team player
– Have skills in delegating, communicating, executing leadership responsibilities
– Have personal relational skills
– Have track record for creating or growing a youth ministry
– Supply a current resume with secular and ministry history and personal references
